The Diary of John

Welcome to 'The Diary of John', a short single-page puzzle adventure for one player. Set in the universe of the Langton Manor escape room series,  this diary serves as both a standalone experience and a prequel to the main storyline, revealing some previously unknown aspects of the manor's past. It takes around 5 to 15 minutes to complete, featuring four puzzles.

How to play

1. Print the diary on a single A4 or Letter page, in color or grayscale. Try to not read the texts yet.
2. Fold it into a booklet using the folding instructions. No staples needed!
3. Start with the cover, which includes the first diary entry. Solve the puzzle to proceed to the next page. Each puzzle solution is a single word, hinted within the text. You should find that word somewhere in the beginning of the diary entry on the next page (this is how you verify your solution was correct).
